My name is Adam Murphy. I’m living in Cobh, Cork with my parents and sister. I am autistic and have had to work extremely hard to achieve success in my life.
Between 2016 and 2019, I did an Arts degree in UCC. I completed a joint honours in both English and Philosophy. I’m currently doing a Masters in Film & Screen Media. I absolutely adore film and hope to become a screenwriter one day.
I’m a huge David Mitchell (the author, not the Peep Show comedian) fan. My favourite novel of his is Cloud Atlas, which was later turned into a film (which is also my favourite film), as I’m a fan of postmodernism, metafictional intertextuality and absurdism.
At times, my views might a bit quirkier than yours, but I consider this to be an asset. The world would be a peculiar place if everyone was the same. With my blog, I hope to instill in you an interest in film and put a smile to your face.
